We support vulnerable communities through humanitarian aid, development initiatives and social programmes. With local and international partners, we promote health, education and social well-being.
Our vision
A world where no one is forgotten. Where everyone is treated with respect, compassion and equal opportunities, and people affected by crises receive support when they need it.
Our purpose in practice
Hands for Humanity is a volunteer-based humanitarian and social organisation founded in Denmark in May 2025. We bring together people with different professional backgrounds around a shared belief: everyone deserves dignity, care and the opportunity for a better future.
Our work begins with people and their needs. We support people in vulnerable circumstances regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnic background. Practical help, opportunities to learn and welcoming community activities can all contribute to a stronger sense of belonging.
How we put our mission into action
- Listen and respond: understand the needs of the people we support and let those needs guide our activities.
- Create opportunities to participate: bring people together through social and creative activities, with attention to children's well-being and inclusion.
- Work together: combine the commitment of volunteers with the knowledge of local and international partners.
- Act with care and responsibility: make respect, transparency and accountability part of the way we work.
The future we work towards
Our vision reaches beyond immediate assistance. We want people facing difficult circumstances to feel seen, heard and connected to their communities. Health, education, livelihoods, emergency relief and child well-being are connected parts of that ambition.
We believe change grows through shared effort. By building relationships between volunteers, communities and partner organisations, we aim to create more opportunities for people to support one another. There is always a need for more helping hands.
